Industry-wide basic training requirements
The NSA has designed industry-wide basic training requirements for training within the product areas of respiratory protection, fall protection and confined spaces.
The basic training requirements have been developed with a view to minimise the number of workplace accidents. The requirements place demands on trainers and their provision of training courses, and provide clients and users with information about how the requirements are intended to achieve a safe working environment and prevent workplace accidents.
The NSA is responsible for the content and development of the basic requirements. The training companies associated with the NSA have undertaken to comply with the basic requirements when they provide training courses.

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION TRAINING
Trainers that are NSA members continually carry out courses in PPE and have undertaken to include the basic requirements established by the industry in each respective training area in their courses.
